The rough four processes to finish the soft enamel lapel pin manufacturer.
The soft enamel pin is composed of two main parts, the metal part of the lapel pin and the soft enamel painting.
First, send us your metal pin designs, our professional designers will follow your lapel pin drawing and make the soft enamel pins artworks for your confirmation.
Second, after your confirmation, our metal pin mold master will start to make a mold, which is used to stamp your design on a high-quality metal part.
Cut out the outline of your design. The general material is zinc alloy or iron.
Third, polish the soft enamel pin’s metal part and plate it with various finishes, such as golden, silver, or the most popular black nickel.
Carrying out high-quality polishing on the raised area and around the metal badge is very important.
Fourth, adjust the enamel color according to the requirements of your design drawing, fill the recessed area with soft enamel paint, and dry it to make the soft enamel lapel pin stretched, fixed, and beautiful.
Eco-friendly plating and soft enamel painting are very important and necessary.
We generally match the enamel color according to the Pantone color card.
The metal pin shows the raised lines. According to the requirements of your design drawing, it perfectly outlines the outline of the design drawing and prevents the enamel from mixing together.
* Main points *
Minimum Raised Metal Line thickness
Each enamel color in the design must be separated by a raised metal line that acts as a barrier to prevent the colors from mixing together. These lines should not be less than 0.2mm thickness.
Minimum Color Area
Use a thin needle-like applicator to add the colored area of soft enamel paint to the recessed area of the metal pin.
Font Size
For normal fonts, the minimum text we recommend is 6pt. If it is a complex font, it needs to be a little larger.
When you make a metal pin design, please make sure to follow the above two rules to ensure the smallest raised metal wire thickness and the smallest filled color area.
Any raised area of the text on the metal lapel pin design drawing should not be less than 0.2mm, and should not include a recessed area less than 0.3mm in color to ensure the enamel quality and aesthetics of your metal badge.
Pantone Colors Matching
In order to get the most accurate color matching, we recommend using the“Pantone Solid Coated” guide. Obviously, please use the correct color value when creating the metal lapel pin design or specify which areas of the design to be painted through clear instructions when placing an order.
